This past weekend, we had the honor of welcoming our newest members into the sisterhood of Sigma Kappa Psi Sorority, Inc. These incredible women represent nine different airlines, bringing a wealth of experience, culture, and diversity to our growing organization. Their commitment to excellence and unity within the aviation industry exemplifies the very essence of what Sigma Kappa Psi stands for.

Throughout their pledging journey, these women have dedicated themselves to learning the history, traditions, and mission of our sorority. They have embraced the core values we uphold, not just for the benefit of our sisterhood, but for the broader aviation community and the people we serve. Their journey has been long and demanding, yet they remained steadfast, proving that they are ready to uphold the legacy of Sigma Kappa Psi with grace, resilience, and strength.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Tuckaseegee Recreational Center for hosting our initiation ceremony and probate, marking the beginning of a meaningful partnership. Their generosity in providing a space for us to celebrate this milestone ensures that Sigma Kappa Psi will have a home for future events, initiatives, and community-driven activities.

Your presence and unwavering encouragement made this moment even more meaningful, and we are beyond grateful for the love and support that continues to surround our growing sisterhood.

The unique experiences, challenges, and lifestyle of flight attendants differ greatly from other roles within aviation. From our non-traditional schedules, irregular rest periods, frequent time away from home, and the mental and physical demands of working at 30,000 feet, flight attendants often navigate an entirely different world than other aviation professionals.

Sigma Kappa Psi was founded to be a haven for flight attendants — a safe space where we can share the commonalities of our profession, advocate for our mental, emotional, and professional well-being, and foster a sisterhood that understands the intricate balance of this career. Our programs, initiatives, and community support are designed specifically with the life of a flight attendant in mind.
